This morning at SHOT my wife and daughter waited in line for 2 hours to get face time with the Gunny. Got some autographs from the Gunny plus swapped some swag.
For those who havent had the chance to meet the Gunny hes a real nice guy.
Had a very busy morning at SHOT - Robert K Brown of Soldier Of Fortune magazine stopped by the booth plus a host of others. My morning started on a crappy note though - Had a couple to many adult beverages prior to hitting the rack. Oh well that was my fault. Now some food ......
It was a long first day at SHOT finished with a dinner at Table 10 tonight with some friends. Friends we met at another Shot Show a few years back (maybe 2004). It's amazing how fast 500 ink pens can disappear off a table when their free. Time to hit the rack......6:00 am is just around the corner.
The first day of the Shot Show is always busy but today it was non stop all day long. Saw lots of faces we knew from past shows plus a bunch of new ones. Talked to people from Jordan, Abu Duabi, Phillipines, China and more.
Hope tomorrow to get away from the tables to checkout more of the show - time for dinner at Table 10....
Well we made it - the airplane trip was OK no major problems - All of our show stuff arrived in one piece undamaged. Today at the show its a mad house with everbody setting up their booths getting ready for tomorrows show opening. Its amazing it will all be finished by tomorrow morning.
