G21

Posted 01-13-2013 at 17:05 by Grant440

Purchased my Gen4 G21 this last October and I LOVE IT! It shoots great.
I have performed the .25cent trigger job as well as installed a Ghost Rocket and that really helped.
I'm looking for some other upgrades that you guys have performed.
I've read that a lot of people have installed tungsten guide rods, but just looking for other options would be open for any ideas

Thanks

First Time Hand gun owner looking for advice.

Posted 01-11-2013 at 11:48 by 007anderson

Hey all, I am new to GT and am ready to buy a gen 4 G23 but am also considering a gen 3 G19. I tested both at the range and liked them both but the G19 was a gen 4 and two failures where the trigger got stuck and wouldn't load another round. Looking for all of your guys expertise and advice.

Thanks
Thanks for the advice folks. I've offloaded a single round and I'm now storing it with an almost full magazine with the chamber empty. Only thing is, now it's too heavy. JUST KIDDING. On a serious note though, I remember a scene in one of the Bourne movies where another assassin grabs a handgun from the freezer and Bourne comments that the guy didn't detect that it was too light, hence empty, because Bourne had already emptied it. At the time I wondered if that was...

A Subjective Analysis Of Glock's Current BTF Problems

Posted 01-08-2013 at 06:32 by Arc Angel
Updated 05-12-2013 at 11:19 by Arc Angel

Unlike my two other Glock pistols which perform flawlessly and throw ejected brass, horizontally, out to the right and anywhere from 6 to 10 feet, I also own a troublesome 3rd generation G-19 with a, 'P' prefix serial number that regularly ejects hot brass directly at my head.

Iíve already had hot brass land on top of my eyeglass - Brass that would have hit me in the eye if I hadnít been wearing glasses! This problem is, now, to the point where I will no longer fire my G-19 without...
