Trigger Control for Dummies

The title of this would be more accurate if I had made it ‘Trigger Control with Dummies’, but we’re in computer land so I thought a title with some computer lingo might be appropriate….

The two most important skills needed for accurate shooting are trigger control and sight alignment. Of the two, sight alignment seems to get the most attention sometimes, and it certainly is a needed skill, but when it comes right down to it, trigger control is simply the most important.

Those who chronicle their life in these United States in multiples of decades rather than the post-internet era well remember being taught that the American Dream was a spouse, a good job, a house with a white picket fence and 2.33 children. Certainly an idyllic vision for many and the basis of variation for others.

Have you heard about NY Rep. Peter King's proposed gun-control legislation in the wake of the Arizona shootings? Rep. King has proposed legislation what would make it illegal to possess a firearm within 1000 ft. of a federal official.

Well, Congressman Peter King, I've got an idea for gun-control legislation that would prevent such tragedies that occured in Tuscon. How about drafting a law that would make it illegal for anyone to shoot a federal official.

This coming January 22nd, will mark the thirty-eighth anniversary of the the Supreme Court's landmark ruling in the case of Roe v. Wade. And despite of the media's attempt to elevate the anniversary date to red-letter status, the country is still sharply divided over the Court's decision. In fact, the number one question looming over any nominee to sit on the Supreme Court, well, any nominee by a Republican administration, is "how will they rule regarding Roe v. Wade?"
