If it is worn out, yes. I replace mine after a thousand rounds because I carry my 27's and don't want to have any question about reliability.
If you are talking about a stainless steel or tungsten rod, save your money - the recoil of a stock 27 is pretty much not much at all, and IMO, it makes no noticeable difference.Posted 04-22-2011 at 20:59 by whitebread
