Back from the Shadows
Been gone a while, but learned a lot in the absence. I knew before that growth takes experience, but you don't realize until you're in the thick of it just how often experience tests the very mettle you're made of. Sometimes you grow, and sometimes...well, sometimes it kills you.
I'm happy to be here, growing still.
New experiences, new landscape, and new life. It's a beautiful thing, just like the rose I saw the other day blooming away in the snow.
Now that's a test of mettle right there...
